Assuming I've read the notation right. Second bar - a quaver on the beat, followed by a quaver rest (so thats 1 beat), followed by two half beats, finishing with a minum all starting on the beat. The first bar I think is also not syncopated, but I'm confused because I feel like I'm only counting 3 beats in a 4/4 bar? so maybe it is then?<br /><br />1.2) Is syncopated with the quaver rest on the third beat of the 1st bar, but the second bar isn't.<br /><br />1.3) I think the attacks are still coming on the beats - two quarter notes followed by a quaver rest, so we get 1, 2, 3, 4<br /><br />1.4) I think its syncopated, but not sure why.
